Players will need to carefully consider every move as the game’s AI will react more unpredictably, requiring adaptive strategies.  

There are also enhanced character interactions. Characters, including generals and advisors, now display more lifelike behaviors and have deeper relationships with one another. Visually, the game is a significant leap from its original 2001 counterpart. The remake boasts modernized graphics, including more detailed character models, richly designed battlefields, and smoother animations. However, while the remake offers modernized graphics, UI improvements, and smarter AI, it doesn't introduce many groundbreaking innovations to the core gameplay.
